Description
Expedition Sasquatch is a comedy podcast that I write about the worlds most dedicated bigfoot hunter, you can learn more about Expedition Sasquatch at ExpeditionSasquatch.org.
This is a 1.44MB floppy disk with a copy of our first episode in one of two formats, and optionally software to play it back.
This is not a joke, read more about floppycasts here, or listen to Expedition Sasquatch (the ogg/opus file linked there is the same as the ogg/opus file discussed here.)
Formats are as follows:
Ogg/Opus: As far as I know, playback of Opus files requires a Pentium MMX or faster, and a soundcard. The Opus version optionally ships with a second floppy disk, with a copy of Winamp, and the opus plugin for winamp, or mpxplayer with a copy of the opus plugin for mpxplayer.
MP3: A copy of our podcast in mp3 format. Every mp3 version comes with a copy of the MPR jukebox program, which takes up about 30k, and will play back on a Soundblaster 16 or compatible card with 486/DX 50 or better, and because of it’s low bit rate it may be possible to play back on older/weaker machines as well.
The MP3 version can also be bundled with mpxplayer or Winamp on a seperate disk.
If you want a version for an even older computer, get in touch. We might be able to make it happen.
